VP Leather Sponsored Review

Hello fellow internet bloggers! Today's review is sponsored by VP Leather.  I was contacted through Instagram by VP Leather about reviewing their products.  They told me to pick out somethings that I liked and that they would send me one.  Gladly, I accepted and gave their website a look!  VP Leather does cater more to those who are in the kink community.  Even though this is the case, there are some lovely pieces that are amazing for those looking for something on the "edgy" side.  For this review, I will be calling the product a collar since this is how it is described on the website.  When I first looked on their website, I was on my phone.  To my surprise, the website was incredibly mobile friendly!  Once on my laptop, the website was still easy to navigate and look around without a problem.  Now onto the review!

Items in the shop are made out of leather and some with fur.  There are some vegan options for collars as well which hopefully will expand for other customers  The collar that VP Leather sent me is called the "Vicki" in pink.   Vicki is $18 but currently on sale for $13.  It also comes with a few color options such as pink, red, purple, and black.  For a closure, the collar has a
buckle with different holes punched out.  This is to ensure the comfort of the wearer.  Vicki can fit neck sizes starting at 12" all the way to 16" and has a width of 1/2".  The metal on the collar is nickel-plated so be aware if you have metal allergies.  Vicki is made out of soft Latigo leather that is dyed to the chose of color selected while shopping.  Details on the collar are simple but spunky.  In the center there is a heart shaped lock that does come with a key.  On either side of the lock there is a spike.  These metal pieces are silver which is a plus for me since that is my metal color of choice.
When I received my package, it arrived in a bubble mailer.  Within the mailer, plastic resealable bag with the Vicki inside.  Taking the collar out, you could defiantly tell it was leather by the smell.  Personally I don't mind the smell because it reminds me of family.  For those who may mind the smell, it can easily be aired out to help dull the smell.  The front facing side of the leather is smooth while the part that touches your neck is a bit on the rough side.  Some other products though are lined with fur for more comfort.  If I'm able to purchase a collar in the future, I'm defiantly interested in one of the lined collars such as the collar named "Kathleen".  With the metal detailing, you would think that the collar would feel heavy and become an issue through out the day.  For me, it wasn't that heavy and I had no problem wearing it through out the day.  The only complaint I have about it is that you can't get the extra length tucked into the other side of the buckle.  Such as you can with a belt buckle or an animal collar.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the product I received!  I've gotten many compliments on it.  This collar shows off my personality of cute with an edge.  Talking with the company was a breeze and pleasant.  The website is easy to navigate with a range of products.  My only complaint is that I wish they offered vegan options and maybe more colors and styles.  Maybe even a build your own item section?  I feel like adding some of these options will open them up to more customers.  They do have some vegan options though which is nice for those who want to test out their products!  For anyone who is interested click here to go to their website.  Have you checked out VP Leather or tested one of their products?  Let me know what you think if you have!

Survive until next time my fellow internet bloggers.
